Hello Readers

I know many of you have read  with great interest the NY Times 1619 Project.  Today I want to share with you the 1619 Podcast hosted by Nikole Hannah-Jones.  These podcasts really bring alive the history of people of African descent in America.  Please find some time to listen to these podcasts which you can find here:  nytimes.com/1619podcast. As an example, Episode 5, “The Land of Our Fathers” tells the moving story of  two Black farmers’ attempts to retain their land and to make it profitable..in spite of many institutional obstacles.
